On the move

I'm moving. My landlord has decided not to renew my lease for another year and I've got until the end of May to be outta here. I'm pissed off! I guess it is their place and if they don't want to renew my lease, they don't have to. Part of the reason they aren't renewing my lease is so their buddy can move in. I'm not happy. I've been looking at places over the weekend and I'm sorry, but $1,200 for a 2 bedroom just isn't gonna work for me. I'd pay that for a mortgage, but not for rent.

My boyfriend said I could move into his house for a bit until I find a place, but I'm not sure if that would be a good idea. I mean, if we move in together because we want to, then it would be great, but not just because I've got to be outta here. Make sense? Hmmm, then again I do love him, his house and his neighbourhood. I'm just doubting it is a good idea since we've only been going out for 8 months. I'm an old fashioned whore I guess.

Haven't done much on the photography front, but I'm workin' on it. I've got a few irons in the fire and I'm desperately trying to get some interviews going for my website PornForPatric.net but so far no bites. I guess all those articles I wrote for the foreign press (Haitian newspapers) don't amount to much. Hmmm...maybe that "Cooking with the pornstars" webcast idea would work. Do pornstars cook? Do they even eat? Something to think about.

I'm gonna leave y'all with a photo I took recently. I just like the rather large package that shows on this fellow. It wasn't inentional and my boyfriend was standing next to me when I took the photograph. It just sorta happened. Still, I do like it.

I hate being sick!

Ugh! Woke up this morning sneezing and wheezing. Great way to spend a beautiful spring day. I tried to put the time to good use, doing laundry, cleaning the house and taking naps when I needed to. I do want to see my boyfriend tonight, so I've downed a battleship sized pill that has dried my sinuses. I am, however, also sick to my stomach. I feel like I've got a blender in there. Nancy was right, best to just say no to drugs.

I wanted to hit the beach today and get some pics of the spring breakers. Not "oooh, look at his ass" type pics, but "essence of spring break" pics. You know, people having fun, playing frisbee on the beach, carrying cases of beer back to "party central" in the HoJo. Maybe tomorrow.

I'm gonna hit you guys with a couple more pics from PrideFest tomorrow. In the meantime, this is my absolute favourite pic from that day. A couple in the sunset light that were just smooching and smiling for an hour. I love those times when you don't even notice the passage of time with your man. Time just stands still for you while you bask in each other's affections. Anyway, here's the pic:

Rising from the futon to post

Hooray! Life has finally calmed down to a point where I'm back and I'll be back on a regular basis.

Let's see...what is new. Uh, I found a man. Nice guy, clean cut, good in bed and built like Brad Pitt. Needless to say, I'm a happy man.

Work has been going well. Had some financial troubles, but all in all things have worked out okay. I'm just holding out for the next four months. Once August is here, all will be well and I can start actually spending money instead of hording it.

I hit the PrideFest and took a bunch of pics. Unfortunately, I was incredibly sick and had to pump myself full of pills just to make it there. If you went and saw a guy with a camera walking around sneezing, coughing and blowing his nose constantly...that was me! I didn't even make it to Palm Beach for their Pride since my car is being expensively repaired at the moment.

Not much else to report. Oh, Lucy the Wonder Dog is fine and chewing on a shoe at the moment. No new pics of her to share, but I'll find something soon.

I'm leaving y'all with a photo of a wonderfully nice couple I met at the PrideFest in Fort Lauderdale this past March. They were great to talk with and I'd love to drag them into the studio and photograph them sometime. I'll post more of the PrideFest photos on Sunday.
